Chcę być Gumisiem / I want to be a Gummi Bear

Skończyłam "Fresh" - koronkowe bolerko do letnich sukienek. Wreszcie kończę zielony płaszczyk dla mojej bratanicy. I zaczęłam robić różowe, siatkowe bolerko - kolejna rzecz zainspirowana baletem. ;-P
A skąd ten tytuł? No cóż - zażeram ostatnio ogromne ilości galaretki. :-)

I really don’t have much to write about. My new stretching instructor mistook me for a ballet dancer. LOL But it kinda got me thinking. Am I really that skinny? I don’t think so. On the wave of that inspirational comment I watched “Black Swan” and liked very much some of the joint-warming solutions that ballet dancers use. I’m thinking of knitting myself a triangular shawl to knot around my hips for some extra warmth for my poor hip.

Actually there is a lot going on in the knitting field. I’ve finished “Fresh” – a lace shrug to wear over summer dresses. I’m finishing (finally) the green jacket for my niece. I’ve started a pink mesh shrug – another item that came to life on the “ballet-comment incident”. ;-P

On “the hip field” – there is some progress! After four months of waiting (people in Poland know – others, let me just tell you that it isn’t really that long as for my country and receiving an opinion from a specialist) I finally have an opinion from my orthopaedist. I’m qualified for an operation but at the same time on hold with it. Why? Well that’s the good news. My stretching, working my ass of at the gym and practicing flexibility at the swimming pool paid off. My hip is stronger and more firmly settled. I doesn’t hurt so much and so often anymore.

And what about the title of the post? Well I’m eating tons of jelly. LOL Also my orthopaedists idea. Gelatine in the jelly is the best source of proline an amino acid which builds collagen. Sometimes I think that I’ll become a Gummi Bear if I’ll eat enough of it. :-)
